I heard this about 12 years ago when I was 14 and had to grow up fast. At 17 I was kicked out into the streets by my mother. Years have gone by and nothing has gotten easier. I turn 26 this year and I’ve had to be alone the majority of my adulthood because my family exiled me for being me. I don’t know what it’s like to have a family, I keep going through so much and I don’t know when it will stop. I have to serve time in a few weeks because I made a dumb decision but I think all I’m looking for is love and someone to appreciate me. I feel so lost right now all I want to do is listen to this song and float away…. Thursday 2:53 p.m. April, 25th. 2024.

This song absolutely messed me up as a young pre-teen and was a dear favorite. It still randomly gets stuck in my head and I have to come listen again ❤

Saw Zee perform this at a Jack Johnson concert along with Paula Fuga. Was my first time hearing both and over the years I keep finding myself coming back to listen to all of them. Absolutely incredible performance
